Chris Stiles is the sports and education reporter for The Clayton Tribune in Clayton, Georgia, and writes this blog in his spare time when he isn’t covering events in Rabun County for the newspaper.
Stiles is a graduate of Anderson University in Anderson, South Carolina, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Communications/Digital Media in May of 2017. During his college years, he worked as a freelance high school sports writer for the Anderson Independent Mail and as a color commentator on Anderson University basketball online broadcasts, and also interned for the Courier-Tribune in Asheboro, North Carolina in the summer of 2016 and the Florence RedWolves in the summers of 2014-15.
Stiles is a graduate of Latta High School in Latta, South Carolina, where he was editor of the Shall-Go student newspaper and played varsity golf. He resides in Clayton, Georgia and has previously lived in Mullins, South Carolina and Kernersville, North Carolina.
