Chris Stiles is a sports writer at The Courier-Tribune in Asheboro, N.C., covering high school and college sports in Randolph County and central North Carolina, and writes this blog in his spare time.
He previously worked as sports and education reporter at The Clayton Tribune in Clayton, Ga. and is a graduate of Anderson University in Anderson, S.C., where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Communications/Digital Media in 2017.
Other experience includes working as a freelance high school sports writer for the Anderson Independent Mail, as a color commentator on streaming broadcasts of Anderson University basketball and as an intern at The Courier-Tribune and for the Florence RedWolves baseball team.
Stiles is a graduate of Latta High School in Latta, S.C., where he was editor of the Shall-Go student newspaper and played varsity golf. He resides in Asheboro, N.C. and has previously lived in Clayton, Ga., Mullins, S.C. and Kernersville, N.C.
